Plot
Mexican immigrant and single mother Flor Moreno takes a housekeeping job with the wealthy Clasky family. When her daughter Cristina complicates her schedule, Deborah Clasky invites them to move in, and the two families clash over culture and child-rearing.

Flor Moreno, a Mexican immigrant and single mother, finds work as a housekeeper for Deborah and John Clasky, a well-off couple with two children. Unable to keep up with the schedule because of her daughter, Cristina, Flor admits the difficulty, prompting Deborah to suggest that Flor and Cristina move into the Clasky home. As they share space, cultural differences and contrasting parenting styles create tension between the two families.
