Between February and April 2025, Bernard-Henri Lévy and Marc Roussel filmed the Pokrovsk and Soumy fronts in eastern Ukraine, following fighters of the French-armed Anne de Kyiv Brigade. They documented residents bombarded by Russian forces terrorizing civilians ahead of possible negotiations, interviewed President Zelenskyy—who was reluctant to travel to Washington—and watched a rebroadcast of a meeting with Ukrainian soldiers in a bunker. The final part of Lévy's "Ukrainian Quartet," Our War is a diary with flashbacks recalling key moments of the war that began in 2014.
