Calvin Sims, a dwarf criminal fresh out of prison, teams with his dimwitted brother Percy to steal a massive diamond for mobster Walken. During a police chase, Calvin stashes the stone in the purse of executive Vanessa Edwards, whose husband Darryl longs for a baby. Percy convinces Calvin to dress as an infant and be abandoned at the Edwards' doorstep so he can search their house. The couple keeps him for the weekend and considers adoption, while Walken pressures Darryl for the diamond's return.
