In Double Impact, Jean-Claude Van Damme takes on the dual roles of Alex and Chad, twins whose lives diverge after their parents are killed. Chad grows up in Paris under the care of a family retainer, while Alex turns to petty crime in Hong Kong. After Chad discovers a picture of his brother, he travels to Hong Kong and reunites with Alex, insisting that Alex's local rival is the same man responsible for their parents' death. Alex remains wary of Chad's motives, particularly regarding his girlfriend.
