When Ashtray relocates to South Central L.A. to stay with his father—who appears to be exactly his age—and his grandmother, a tough-talking woman who enjoys smoking reefer, he quickly connects with his cousin Loc Dog. A gang-banger, Loc Dog arms himself with the expected pistols and an Uzi, plus a thermo-nuclear warhead for self-defense. Ashtray must decide whether he can maintain his straight life amid the chaos.
