For generations, the Claus family has passed the title of Santa to chosen members, who retire and hand it down. Each Christmas, Santa and his highly trained elves produce and distribute gifts worldwide in a single night. But when one of 600 million children is missed, everyone but Arthur Claus—the current Santa's misfit son, deemed ineligible for the title—accepts it. Arthur launches an unauthorized rookie mission to deliver the last present halfway around the globe before Christmas morning.
