December has left Sakuta exhausted, and his second year of high school is drawing to a close. Mai is a year ahead, so the approach of graduation makes their remaining time at school together feel especially short. At home, Kaede has begun to venture outside again. As her confidence returns, she tells her brother that she hopes to enroll at his school. Sakuta understands how demanding that would be for her. He wants to give her whatever support he can, but he also has to consider whether helping her pursue the plan is really what she needs.
