Sanford Lagelfost, a meek accountant, stands accused of stealing $3 million from Trout Industries. The jury is a mixed group: Eddie the waiter, Rita the call girl, Phil the businessman, and Abby the ex-hippie. When voluptuous star witness Hope Hathaway testifies about Sanford's Lothario-like exploits, he becomes a media sensation. As the trial gains notoriety, the judge sequesters the jury, and events spiral into wild chaos.
